LOOKING FORWARD
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans" Allen Saunders
Looking Forward - a dance performance that investigates the passage of time.
Three performers, three acts, three perspectives of time.
A modular score in the present, with the past and for the future.
“Just be in the moment” they say
When in the meantime everyone is terrified by a free afternoon. We feel the need to always know what we’re going to feel. That makes us feel ready and protected. But at the same time prevents us from feeling alive.
Creating from the present moment we use absurdity and humour to offer an existential and intimate experience. It is a playful score consisting of projections of memories, expectations of what should happen, live improvisation based on clichés in the theatre and audience interactions.

By creating a humourfull and poetic mosaic of movement, physical theatre and visuals, ‘Looking Forward’ offers the lens to see the absurdity of looking forward. This performance aims to reveal the toxic paradox of the rushing modern lifestyle we live in.

"If you don’t have a plan for the future, you’re unprepared, unproductive and purposeless. You will not succeed if you’re not looking forward" they sayWith ‘Looking Forward’ we say we must admit we will never know what is happening in the future, let's start by understanding what is happening in the present.
